This is a 1961 3.8 S1 project, fully rebuilt steel Monocoque with new front frames and bolt in full FIA Roll Cage. Comes with new Alloy bonnet, Alloy doors and new Dunlop Mag Racing wheels, new Avon ZZ tyres fitted to rebuilt fast road front and rear suspension.
The engine is striped and re-bored, crankshaft and rods are polished fully balanced and C/W competition forged pistons ready for assemble. The car is also supplied with an all-syncro 4.2 gearbox. Not many early E'type restoration projects left now. This S1 3.8 coupe is original R/H drive with 2 owners from new. The car has not been used since the 1980's. The engine will run and the brakes are free from binding. All the chrome was removed in the 1980's and stored so is in very good condition as are the seats and steering wheel, they are like new.
